One of our most popular events every year is the Wine Express, and it's no secret why. Imagine experiencing Fall in the Black Hills riding behind an authentic steam engine while sipping local wines paired with tasty food courses. This unique experience aboard the 1880 Train offers local wines, charcuterie, salad, plus a delicious dessert all while your train car meanders through the Black Hills, where you can take in the seasonal changes around you. It's a one-day event held on September 12, so book now before it sells out!
Your ticket includes the train ride, the food and wine (non-alcoholic drinks available upon request), and a keepsake glass. This trip is 21 and up, only. You'll want to arrive early, as the music begins at Hill Station at 1:30 PM, and the train will depart from Hill City at 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM, with the round-trip ride lasting about 2 hours.
Each course is served with a locally made South Dakota wine, like Uplifted Winery, Cornerpost Winery, Strawbale Winery, and With the Wind Winery. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience along the Black Hills train route by booking now!
