$73 Adults - One ticket price

Must be 21 years of age or older

Ticket includes food, wine, and a keepsake glass. One menu offered. Nonalcoholic beverages will also be available.

Passengers must arrive in advance to check in with ticket agent and pick up tickets in the Hill City Depot. Tickets are listed under the last name given at the time reservation was made.

Group rates are not available for special event rides.

Saturday, September 12

Live music will start at the Hill City station at 1:30 pm
Train departs Hill City station at 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm, both from the Hill City station, and the roundtrip ride takes approximately 2 hours.

🍷 Each course is paired with a locally-made South Dakota wine.

Course One

Charcuterie Box: Havarti cheese and salami paired with Sangiovese from Uplifted Winery.

Fresh bread and basil aioli paired with Bernard Wine from Cornerpost Winery.

Course Two

Greek Orzo Pasta Salad with chicken, feta, olives, seasonal vegetables with a red wine vinaigrette paired with Aurelia Wine from Cornerpost Winery.

Wine Shooter (2oz) Burning Bog from Strawbale Winery.

Course Three

Cheesecake Brownie paired with Ruby Rouge Sparkling Red from With The Wind Winery.

One menu is offered.  Nonalcoholic beverages will also be available.

Seating is assigned. In order to sit together, passengers must be under ONE reservation. When making reservations online, you may select your own seats. Please ensure you have the final count of your party when making your reservation and selecting seat assignments. Seating assignments cannot be changed once selected or assigned. Guests who add on to a reservation at a later date are not guaranteed a seat with your party.

Credit card is charged at time of reservation. Like any ticketed event, all sales are final and no refunds or exchanges are offered unless ticketed train does not operate.

Inclement Weather: Please prepare for winter road and traffic conditions! The 1880 Train is not liable for road closures or delays. This event will run no matter the weather.
