On select days from November 25 through January 2, you'll want to experience the Christmas magic aboard 1880 Train's Holiday Express. Passengers will get to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus while traveling on a one-hour round trip journey from Hill City to the "North Pole" where Santa will board, taking time to visit with each child along the way. Everyone will get some hot cocoa, as well as some treats— like a sugar cookie and candy cane! Kids will get bell to ring for Santa as well.
Or, hop aboard our first class cars and in addition to the snacks and cocoa (with extras) you'll get a commemorative mug, a premium bell, and more time with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Be sure to check the schedule when booking for dates and times.
For the grown up travelers we also offer a 21+ experience: Holiday Express Spiked! Get your cocoa spiked with a choice of Peppermint or Butterscotch Schnapps in a keepsake mug. Spiked makes a great office Christmas party outing, or just celebrate with friends and family. These cars are featured on select 4:15PM train rides, be sure to check the schedule when you book to see when they're available.
